Amazon has picked up new detective series Bosch for a second series, just one month after the first series became available in full on their video-on-demand platform.
The series, which is based on the best-selling novels by Michael Connolly, broke all Amazon records last month with the biggest debut weekend of any Amazon Original Series and became the top-watched title on Amazon Prime Instant Video in its first four weeks.
The first ten episodes were based upon three of the nineteen Harry Bosch novels, including City of Bones, Concrete Blonde and Echo Park. The second series will see Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, investigate the murder of a Hollywood producer. He will later pursue a serial killer that threatens his ex-wife and teenage daughter.
