Four-time World Superbike champion Carl “Foggy” Fogarty has received a new title: King of the Jungle.
Last night’s final of I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here saw Foggy crowned the victor ahead of runner up Jake Quickenden and third placed Melanie Sykes. Speaking of his triumph, Foggy said, “It sounds unbelievable. It feels like a dream. Thanks to everyone for voting. This is the best thing of my life, I can’t put into words how happy I am that the public have put me here.”
He probably deserved the accolade for choosing to dine on a meal including meal worms, ostrich anus and camel penis – despite being presented with alternatives of steak, pizza and a hamburger – to win all five stars in his last Bush Tucker Trial.
His playful friendship with former footballer Jimmy Bullard was a highlight of the series, with the two playing pranks on each other and the rest of the camp. Foggy cried after Jimmy was evicted from the jungle, and now “Joggy” are presumably reunited once more. Watch out, Australia!
