Three new dancers will join the Strictly line up this year, it was announced today. They are Gleb Savchenko, Giovanni Pernice and Otlile Mabuse. Here’s how they measure up:
Gleb Savchenko
Dancing with the Stars pro Gleb Savnchenko is from Russia and specialises in Latin dancing. His credits include dancing with Jennifer Lopez in an advert for L’Oreal. He has been dancing since he was only eight years old and once ranked tenth in the world.
Giovanni Pernice
Italian Giovanni won the 2012 Italian Championships and has been dancing from a young age, concentrating solely on dance from 14-years-old. His favourite dance is the jive and joining Strictly has been a dream of his.
Otlile Mabuse
South African Otlile has won the South African Latin American Championships a whopping eight times and has also appeared on the German version of Strictly.
The new names complete the sixteen-strong line-up for the upcoming thirteenth series.
The full list is as follows: Aliona Vilani, Aljaž Škorjanec, Anton Du Beke, Brendan Cole, Giovanni Pernice, Gleb Savchenko, Janette Manrara, Joanne Clifton, Karen Hauer, Kevin Clifton, Kristina Rihanoff, Natalie Lowe, Ola Jordan, Otlile Mabuse, Pasha Kovalev and Tristan MacManus.
Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return to BBC One in September 2015.
