Netflix's Sons of Anarchy

Check out our top Netflix picks for those of you who need a little bit of excitement in your lazy Sunday:

1. Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad

You’re sick of hearing about it, but if you have for some reason missed out, Breaking Bad is an absolute must-see (if only so you understand what everyone else is talking about). It’s full of criminal activity, epic action sequences and is fantastically well-written.

2. Sons of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy

Already seen Breaking Bad? Sons of Anarchy is a similar idea, following those with nefarious intentions in an outlaw motorbike gang. It’s high-action, intense, and made Charlie Hunnam a household name (if you didn’t remember him from Queer as Folk so many years ago).

3. Jack Reacher

Jack Reacher

The 2012 thriller stars Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, an investigator who finds himself involved in a case of a military sniper turned serial killer. Of course, all isn’t exactly how it seems.

4. Mr and Mrs Smith

Mr and Mrs Smith

The Brangelina high-power spy action film is just as entertaining now as it was back in 2005, with a seemingly ordinary husband and wife leading double lives as assassins (somehow without ever realising before the events of the film). Naturally, they’re hired to kill each other, and it’s smoking both from gunfire and chemistry.

5. Archer

Archer

If you fancy yourself a fan of action and animated shows, then Archer is the series for you. The series deals with an international secret intelligence agency in the US and matters of global urgency.

All this and more for just £5.99 a month on Netflix. One month free trial.
